Brains........Lets talk about Brains

Greetings All, Shardvixen here;
Lets talk about brains.  They are really interesting organs.  They drive everything we do.  If you think about all the things they do without us thinking about it, it is easy to understand why AI would be a bit difficult to create.  You can build really fast processors which are able to take a command and add lots of possibilities to the commands but in the end you still only have a really fast processors which isn't as fast as our brains.
Brains are so complex, there is still a lot we don't understand about them.  There are studies about how drugs effect the brain which never got published because they ended up showing that some drugs stimulated parts of the brain to create higher processing skills while depleting skills for survival like understand social body language.  The studies were not publish because it was feared some people would do drugs while pregnant on purpose to create very smart babies.  Yes there are still people out there who experiment on their own children.
Here is a quick lesson on how complex and effective our brains are.  Every person born has a unique brain which get programmed by the world around it.  Every brain sees, hears, tastes, feels and translates the world around them differently, unless it is a twin brain.  Twins tend to see the world more alike than the rest of world around them.
Brains are programmed to relate to others with shared information.  I see green differently than all the other people in the world, but it is agreed upon that shade of color, blue mixed with yellow, is called green.  I see trees differently but can use an universal stick drawing to say tree and others will usually understand.  In most places, the hand pretending to hold something to the mouth, means eating or food.
When a population of brains agree upon any given thing, that can be called a society and about 75% of any given population is the average, the norm of agreed things.  This is how new words get into our thoughts.  We share a concept and give it a name and then we all agree to use that name because at least 75% of our given population agrees to it.
There are societies within societies or if you like cultures withing cultures.  Each of these cultures of brains has rules which tell others brains what things are in their culture.  Again the words and meanings must be agreed upon.
For me, I just like the idea that my brain is different and see the world in its own unique style. How I interpret things is my own private language and only when I have to share it with others do I use the society words for meaning.
Religion has a way of breaking down society's words for things.  It moves into the realm of private understanding and is hard to share.  Many religious cultures have their own words of meaning that do not necessarily match the words of outside cultures from the starting point which is why there is so much misunderstanding.
Our brains have no nerves, the brains can not tell the difference from pain of the body to pain of the soul.  To the brains it is all the same.  Which is why babies can die from neglect of love even if they are fed food and why people will hurt themselves when others treat them hurtfully, attack their self worth, self understanding and self awareness.
We need to learn to treat our brains and other brains well.  To create growth rather than stagnation. To encourage the concept of Dadaism rather expertism.  We do not need to prove we are experts in our lives.  We do not need to prove what we are doing and what we will do has worth because it all has worth.  Our brains are full of worth, eager to change and grow and give new meanings to what we create and destroy during out life times.
A toast to out brains.
