Here it is fnally chapter five of Caged. Everything is in order in the story bible as well. Please make a comment if you get a chance to read the chapters. Remember it is in really rough draft, so if mispelled words and grammer issues bother you, you won't want to try reading this. It for me about getting the story to flow and be interesting. Thanks:
Chapter five:Chapter five:
'He stands, all brooding like, to survey his land.' Ifn's dry sarcasm dripping with contempt echoed in his head as Karmoia looked out over the Bliss from his highest tower. Why the Tyncle decided to hang out with him still bother Karmoia. He was sure Ifn was some being he once knew from the Morrow Then. A being who had been enivous of Karmoia and his status. A being who once had meant something but by the time that Slag who all revered as the Mother had been trapped, the being was just another hated one for Karmoia. Though like all Tyncles, Ifn either refused to say or maybe couldn't remember his own beginning. All he would say was he was following the Rage.
The Rage, the part of Karmoia that wasn't of him. The part of him force into him by his creator. Well She wasn't his divine creator anymore, here in Morrow Now, She was his bane. Something which needed to be purged and destroyed and thankfully to all of existence the time was getting close for that event to happen. The HeiRo and the Weapon should be about ready and Karmoia should now be able to find them.
Karmoia had to plan carefully now and walk silently to achieve something he had been planning since he had been knocked about on that fateful day of caging the Mother as she was called by the Slag. But what plan to to use now. He had thought to bring up the two himself, so they would release and kill the Mother exactly how Karmoia had envision it all these long years. Then Karmoia would feel the release of the Rage and he would be free. Free to die or live but free to make his own choice for him something he hadn't done since Morrow Then.
Today in this light, The Bliss looked like a shinny , flat surface, one he could walk across. The Bliss was in fact a thick material, thicker than the land water all beings drank. One could drink Bliss as long as the bitter taste of Quazi's blood was to one's liking. Karmoria enjoyed Bliss Death, a popular daring drink served within the Empeirial Enclave, at this time. The Rippers had a version of it as well to test out their own crews. If one could drink it down without it crawling back up one's throat or passing out, then that being was a true Ripper. Karmoia always thought of it as drinking the Mother's blood and that brought him great joy and satisfaction.
A slight flurry of wind devoid of Whispers, because few ever came around Kamoria. He liked to rip them apart to pull their secrets from them or let Ifn eat them slowly and listen to their death cries. It was funny to listen to them because they never pleaded for release, just moan and sob as they were sucked down Ifn's needle horns to give the Tyncle ever so slightly more Vie.
Kamoria every so slightly turned to look at the Tyncle hovering around him. Ifn was most likely had been a murdering Slag hiding behind the role of a Tooth. Kamoria was almost sure of it. Ifn's mental voice had the ring of a certain Tooth who had been a fang in Kamoria's throat since they had both been Lex. If it was that one, they had started out as friends, as much as a Lex could have friend. They had shard flesh together and Kamoria had been sure they would be a bond forever, few Lex were able to be pairs to protect each other. Jaico would have been that one for Kamoria.
Jaico became Kamoria's first lesson of envy and betrayal. As Kamoria began to move past Jaico in the use of Vie, Jaico became envious of Kamoria and began to harass Kamoria with little burrs of nastiness. Sometimes in front of others and sometimes just to Kamoria. Jaico's treatment caused a divide between them and it was the main reason for Kamoria to enter the Emergance,
Emergance was the self test to become a Blood and learn to use Vie. Within the Emergance. Kamoria found out he had enough Vie and will to a BloodWave. Only the most powerful and disciplined Bloods and even some Teeth could become a Wave. Jaico had didn't have enough Vie nor discipline to follow in Kamoria's path. Jaico had become nothing in the wake of Kamoria' Vie path, but a vicious slag who liked killing. He like to soak in the blood of those he killed, to throw back his head and roar in the glory of the kill. It was because of this delight in killing, he was to become the best Tooth the Captua had and many of them were extremely afraid of him. They approached Kamoria to see ifthere would be a way to control him. Kamoria decided to get rid of him instead by suggesting to the Rattaysha that Jaico had enough Vie and rage to become a Sou Cage for the God Machine. But that wasn't the end of Jaico appaently because it seemed like when the God Machine broke and all the Soul Cages opened Jaico became a Tyncle. A Tyncle whose only purpose seemed to be to haunt Karmoria.
Kamoria believed it was in part Jaico's fault that Kamoria ended up being at the God Machine the day Dahlesha decided to turn it on and cage the Mother. Dahlesha hated the Caputa more than anything even though her brother-fleshmate was the Brain. It had been her mother's plan to destroy the Caputa through inter-mating to make sure it was the Deuscide would be controlling everything in the world. The long term plan of the Deuscide and Dahlesha was to pull the Captua and Lex with their BloodWaves back into being one big family once more. All that stood in the way was all the other Captua who didn't have a connection to Dahlesha like Baulin So Eshalve-Dahl, the son of Eshalve and brother to Dahlesha. In a way it kind of work out the way Dahlesha had wanted except all of them becmed Caged together as the Damned. The Damned who guarded the entrance to the Mother's Path in the Mother's Womb.
The Damned were all that was left of the great minds and weilders of Vie from Morrow Then, not counting Kamoria who escaped becoming a Soul Cage because of the Rage. Kamoria wonder how His Most Holy Brain, Bauldin So Eshalve-Dahl liked being a statue guarding the sacred site in the Mother's Womb. They had once been flesh-mates, but Bauldin had refused to listen to his most powerful BloodWave, Kamoria, when he had warn Bauldin of Dahlesha's intentions. Bauldin refused to believe that Dahlesha was trying to rid the world of the Captua. So instead had allowed all of the Study's Trust to be there for the Caging event. And now in Morrow Now, most of them were the Damned, if not dead or turned into Whispers and Tyncles. Kamoria hadn't been to see the Damned since the Dark Days because he hated them all. None of them had to suffer what he has had to endure all these yesters. It was his other plan, after the Mother was released and killed, to either use them as Soul Cages or torment and torture them in ways to ensure they would feel what he has felt for over 3,765 and half yesters when the Rage hit him. Them and Ifn would burn with his hatered for many Morrows if Kamoria can figure out a way to do so.
The anger he felt began to cause the Rage to react. Kamoria gulped as the ever familiar burn began to creep up his throat and spread a fire within his body and soul. A fire so hot it was cold as it tried to burn out him and replace some other being or thing. Something that wanted the world to burn, all of existance to burn to live in a firey abyss, to which nothing but it would survive. Kamoria clenched his fists and teeth, biting his tonuge and cheeks to cause blood to flow. He could feel the flames burning his eyes into empty sockets of Rage crying tears of blood.
“No, no.....NO!” The last one came out as a strangle, short skreetch as his back arched from the pain. Rage wanted him to let go and it hurt to hold it back, hurt in ways that had no name as they burned through his skin, his brain and his soul whispering” let go, just let go”, like a caress pushing out all other thoughts. Kamoria began to see the memories held by the Rage. Memories not of his making but of Dahl De Love. His Mother, the creator of his world, her memories of hate, anger, frustration and fear. The memories were what created the Rage, a part of the Vie which was passed to her creations, the Quazians and later to the Slag as well. Vie which could be used to kill or create but with the Rage it was all about pain and death. Brief flashes of her and her bonds, her creations, of her flesh-mates and loves. It was these memories which caused Kamoria to know she wasn't as divine as all the world believed her to be. She had come from the Sideways Path and it was possible for any being to walk the Sideways Path and now Kamoria had the knowledge from the memories.
Kamoria's body twisted in unreal bends as the Rage tried to escape. It battered at the boundaries of his soul and body but couldn't escape its cage, its Soul Cage. He learned long ago, the Rage couldn't be removed or leave his body. They were bonded together till he found the HeiRo, the Weapon and Dahl's new body. Her memories had shown that shes made the most powerful BloodWaves because of spawnblood, the blood that a mother to be's egg would be cushion in to become a spawn. So he had trained through the years shes who had the Vie to become first Lex, then Bloods and secretly Waves. But only recently did he see the power, Dahl had shown and thus he created a new BloodWave, Cechia De Eshalve-Luv-Dahl-Lyr spawn to the Morrow Now Emperialor Nachoon. And he had sent her to find an allies to Dahl, the Mother-Waiting-To-Be-Released.
As Kamoria tried to fight for control, his own memories began to flash along side of the Rage. He hadn't known why his Viener, the Wave guide had been so powerful. During Morrow Then, BloodWaves were rare and just being created. His guide had been a she, a Slag, a Silver forever chained to the Rattaysha. This Silver had been trained by Rattaysha. Now having seen all the secrets of Vie through the Rage, he knew his mentor had been powerful because of being a she. The difference between regular Vie users and Waves was Waves could based on their strength hold useable Vie within their own souls till they needed to use it. There could be Waves without becoming a blood but BloodWaves were the most distrutable force, Kamoria had seen. In fact, Dahl hadn't seen many Waves as powerful as BloodWaves. It was possible that was why there was so few of them. The most powerful one in Morrow Then had been Matlken.
It was because of Matlken and what happen to her, that Kamoria had a deep haterd of the Deucside and the Rattaysha and evenually the Damned. Dahlesha had order all of th e Blood, Bloodwaves and Silvers who were her mother's property and/or guards to all be put into Soul Cages. Kamoria was sure Dahlesha had wanted Matlken's Vie ability because even though Matlken's Vie could still be used at the time of caging the Mother, Dahlesha still ordered Matlken to become a Viecen. Kamoria was also forced as a BloodWave to watch her be torn apart by the Cage Tool using Vie to take her blood and soul to be pumped into a Soul Cage. He had once held the Soul Cage when it was being fitted into the God Machine but hadn't felt any thing of her in it. That was how Soul Cages worked.
Matlken was the only being he really missed all these years. He didn't understand why she hadn't become a Tyncle once the God Machine had been cracked wide by the Rage. He had tried to find her but it seemed to his ever lasting sorrow, she had been given Dahldeth, the true death. Matlken could be roaming the Sideways Path at this moment. It was her face which always allowed Kamoria to gain control of the Rage. It was for her, that he wanted to get to the Sideways Path when he had finally killed the Mother.
In Morrow Then, many of the Vie users, had been created by Deuscide and the Rattaysha. They were, as Kamoria only learned through the memories of Dahl, using forbidden patterns to create beings. It was the early patterns which had cause the Slag but couldn't ever be repeated though could be improved which was how the Silvers had been created. It had been suggested by Ifn that Matlken's spawn eggs had been used to create Kamoria. Kamoria refused even now to believe that but was interested in how it could be done. To be able to create one's own beings better than the Silvers would be something Kamoria was very interested in and he planned to study the patterns more after. Every thing was after the Mother was dead and the Sideways Path was open to him. He would create his own world and have all the power and peace.
Kamoria concertrated and saw the Rage flowing through his veins with his blood. He pushed and pulled it into shape to hide behind the door he had created in the Dark Days to keep the Rage from consuming him over and over again as it had in the first few yesters. He knew because he had become a living Soul Cage, the Vie created from the Rage could be used to keep the Rage in the little brain room and give Kamoria enough power to do what ever he wanted. Slowly beyond time as most being track it, the Rage was pulled back into the little room and Kamoria was able to become himself once more. He knew Ifn also sucked up bits of the Rage which manifested itself into hot blue flames, deep purple when cooled into Vie as Ifn seemed to be able to do. Which might also explain why Ifn was here with him in the Morrow Now.
Kamoria landed in a heap on his floor with a jarring thud. He felt the soft threads of the rug he had stolen when riding Slises with the Rippers. He had loved the feel of the rug, soft. So soft that it almost felt like stroking air. Slowly as he opened his eyes, he used the Vie he had stored to heal them. He could only see red at first but after a few blinks he could see the soft rug and its silver fur. It had been woven from the hair of a Vayun. Creatures which live wild on Exitium and Duum' Chain ( a favorite haunt of Rippers). They are hard to hunt because they have Vie of their own. Kamoria had a hate of them and killed as many as he could in the last twenty yesters. Ever since one, most likely a Tyncle, had aided a being in stealing the spawns which might have grown to be the HeiRo and the Weapon. There were still plenty of the Vayin roaming their lands, Kamoria just hadn't been there in a while. Maybe a side trip there would be relaxing and he could visit the Rippers as well.
The planning of events help Kamoria gain strength to push himself up on his knees. As he lifted his head, he came eye to eye with Ifn. The kind of creature Ifn was lived deep in the empty wilds part of the Bliss. Suracens were unknown to many beings of the world, or though of as evil dreams to scare spawnlings. What was known of them had been collected by the Study long ago and most likely forgotten in Morrow Now.
Ifn was only a little bigger than Kamoria's fist. Matlken had once stated and it was repeated all through Kamoria's life, that his hands were rather small for how tall he was. Tall and thin was Kamoria. He always believed it was because Vie and the keeping of it took a lot of engery from a being's body, so there wasn't much left for bulk. Also many of the first blood Quazians were thin and tall. Only Slags and their blood had the bulk, and some of the Silvers were very large with large hands and feet. Matlken was one of such Silver, she was like two of him but her bulk was hone to a rock sharpness, like the Vie had eaten any soft parts away. She was his older by many yesters but still a sight to be seen. Even though she had belonged to Bauldin, the three of them had shared themselves till E'Shalve had order Bauldin to become the Brain to the Caputa, then they lost him to authority forever. Second to the Mother, E'Shalve-Dahl was another he hated with a passion. With Bauldin leaving for Xanaria, he took his Silver, Kamoria's heart and left him all alone with E'Shalve and her mad plans to use all the Blood Waves to power the God Machine.
Ifn and Kamoria stared at each other until, Kamoria heard Ifn mumble something deep in his head about weaked will Waves, no one could count on them to do anything but howl for pity. Kamoria pushed himself up more with Vie than physical strengh. He slowly walk or rather dragged himself over to the window, looking towards the Bliss, he knew he wasn't going hunting for Vayin any time soon but he was going hunting. The Rage left a clue to the Mother and it was coming to him soon. Morrow future was coming to pass and soon he would find his heart once more and kill the Mother for forever. Kamoria was smiling as he moved towards the inner parts of his castle to make ready all the company he would soon be getting.
