Old Brains Have to be Tricky
Greetings All, Shardvixen here,
I wish I have better brains. It is really funny because I am either the smartest dumb fox or the dumbest smart fox I know. I know things but can't always use what I know. I have been sitting at the computer learning from really smart kids on how to use Blender. I have to say I would be having a lot of fun if I wasn't so frustrated at times.
For example it took me almost an hour to figure how why my animation file wasn't able to work right. I finally figured it out after watching a bunch of videos enlarged and looping the picture with the menu I needed. I really should learn to give up but I just can't.
Now I am trying to figure out how to add a pretty picture with an introduction. I know, it isn't how great the intro is because either people will watch or they won't but all the research done on the audience of youtubers suggest if you can hook them with spectacular at first they may come back for more no matter how unfunny you may be.
I am "just ok" at everything I do. Or depending on how I look at it, I am awesome at every thing I do but my nemisis who runs around magically causing people to forget about me is causing me so much trouble, I want to do this the human way, not the goddess way. I don't know how other gods do it. Maybe some of them will let me know.
Any way I "just do OK" at anything I try. It works for me. I can just make an ok dress, ok candy, ok art, ok videos. But I don't know if OK is going to get me viewers, followers or friends. I need some of those to read this blog, to communicate to me and to watch my videos.
So better brains. Maybe I can get a few Brians and turn them into brains. I don't want to do the whole zombie thing; that is a bit yucky and seems it would be a bit sticky as well. I don't do sticky well.
Maybe I need a "head key" like in Locke and Key. I could just open up some one else's head take out what I need and put it in my head. Then I would know exactly what I needed to get what I needed done. If you get a chance, you should read "Locke and Key". I loved the way it ended. I don't want to give away the ending in case you just decided you want to read it.
Better brains might mean I would be up on all the trending things but I doubt. I am not much into following what other people do. Or foxes. I like to discover things either though a person I admire, from other works of art or because I saw it somewhere or heard it somewhere but I won't do anything because every one else is doing it. Stupid is as Stupid does and I really try not to do stupid just because some one else is, no matter who that some one is. I mean if Hugh Jackman said we all need to walk around with wet noodles on our heads, I would just laugh my ass off watching that whole scene but I probably wouldn't do it unless I got curious enough to wonder why he was doing it in the first place.
And before you say, most people have better brains and wouldn't do something like that, just look as some of the silliest which can trend at any given time. I will most likely point some of them out in later blogs.
So for the next five years or so I will be learning things the hard way as I explore the world of videos. I will learn to edit one way and then I will have to learn to edit another way as I buy more equipment. But it is what it is and I am good with it.
So here is to wishing I had better brains but at least I am as sneaky as I need to be and that is a good thing for an old, crafty fox such as myself. Catch you on the flip side.

Social Media
Greetings All- Shardvixen here;
Social media is very interesting. I sometimes feel like the a child just learning about the world outside of my home. The key words used like "followers", "friends", "subscribers" really have different meaning on these sites. I was going to clean out my facebook and found I had a hard time letting go of photos even though I have them on disk. It feels like to me sometimes the digital world is somehow connected to our real world, when in fact it really isn't.
I don't like the word 'followers' because I don't want to be a follower. I want to walk at my own pace in my own race. Though my favorite social site is Twitter. I like being force to type so little to say so much.
Facebook is ok, I really liked MySpace when it first came out in which it was what Facebook is now. I like having a site where I could post stuff and share it with people I knew outside of the Internet. I have recently revisited MySpace and have found it to be a whole different site. It is like what Pandora morphed into.
There are so many sites out there I have never tried. Some because they are only for mobile devices, others because they work better on the PC format, some because I am not sure exactly what they can do for me that would be any different then the ones I already have. There are some I would like to try but can't.
Facebook has one billion, 100 million users. I have about 500 on my page. I got a long way to go before I could even get 1/2 of that to notice me. Followed by Twitter. I was surprise to find out that Linkin was next on the list. I have been a part of that site but I though the content was about business not social, guess I was wrong. Next comes; Pintrest followed by Google + both of which I belong to but just never saw them as being as big as they are. Pintrest has always been a troublesome site for me to get on and Google + I though was a bit odd to use. Tumblr and Instagram have only 10,000 as a difference between them. I though they were one in the same until last year when some actors talked about their Instagram. I get Instagram and Snapchat mixed up cause I am old, or so I have been told. (Not that I am old but that I am old because I ain't got a clue about what is happen within the soul of the world.) Next in line is VK(haven't a clue, so I will be googling soon) and flicker (which for some reason always brings to mind a horse and I though it was a place to steal photos from.) See I am old getting things all mixed up.
Vine then Meet UP. I have a Meet up but since I am a bit of hermit at this time, not doing much with meeting up. I just don't see how this is a social media site but again maybe it is because I am old. Please explain it to me when you get a chance. I really wanted to do Vine but I only have so much bytes on my devices and I need Puzzle and Dragons to stay on it, else I will go crazy.
Of the last four on this list I found for the top media sites, only one have I used and it is listed as the 15th. Classmates. I joined it to find some people I had last seen in high school. I was wondering if they were still alive since I went to an Alternative High School. If you need more information on that message me and we can have a chat about my history.
the other three are Tagged, Asked.fm, and Meet me. I have never heard of these, so I will be googling them. Another I had not heard of was stumbled. upon. If you know anything about any of these please let me know. I am curious. That being said I wonder what is the top ten social media or if there is an old folks social media meaning used more by the old who tend to be stuck in the mud types. I was told Facebook isn't where the young hang out and I could see that.

Why am I wondering about this? well because I want to find people I don't know and tell them about my channel. All of my subscribers, all 13 are youtubers with channels. They don't have time to watch me because I can't give them what they want, more subscribers. I was hoping to find other social media where I could find either my peers who most likely would not watch me unless I am broadcasting something they get into or young adults who will like more of the stuff I like but will see me as a pretentious oldster muscling in on their turf. Part of who we are as a culture of the world includes our social media.
Every where you go, someone will ask you if you have first an email and next some kind of social media. Some email sites are social medias as well, like google and yahoo. I don't play on my email sites except for google and that is because it holds Youtube which is of course another social media site.
To look at youth sites would be a whole another blog of its own, as well as exploring emails. There are so many things out in the no space of web space we don't know about but could be caught up discovering and wasting all my time. I have things I need to be doing like looking for subscribers for my videos. Please if any read this let me know you are reading, I promise I won't tell anyone and if you could tell me of other sites I might have missed. I do know gaming sites are also social media sites but few are as popular except for Xbox and Playstation. If you use those sites for socializing let me know.

Greetings All, Shardvixen here;
I have been playing Call of Duty; Ghost. Best thing about it is, I have a bad ass brother and am surrounded by men. I really like games where there is interaction between the characters but this is fun too. I get to be part of the story. I like the way you change weapons reminds me another game I played but can't remember.
Have you "B" ever had dreams of games or memories of games or memories of dreams of games. These all happen to me "B"( Remember B is my number one follower since I don't have any others and it is easier to talk to B rather than myself.) Call of Duty reminds me of another game I play a long time ago but can't remember all of it.
My plan is to finish out Fallout 3, continue with Fallout 4 because there won't be any complete that anytime soon. Finish De Blob to move on to the De Blob 2. I will play Fable, Assassin Creed off and on while playing Call of Duty. I have Gears of Metal and Dishonored waiting in the background as well as either trying Dead Space again or Mass Effect all three. I never finished Dead Space because it was really hard and really scary.
At this time, there is only B reading these. I wish I could get others to read my blogs but I have found it hard to get people to read much of anything any more.
Puppets are almost done, just doing hair and cloths. Working on Avatar and logo. I am really having fun with all this but it is a lot of hard work. I can see why some people do how to videos about how to make a successful channel. There are so many gaming channels out there so getting someone to watch mine or yours, B is really hard. I only have gamers following me, so not a lot of return visits. I am sure my content ins't grabbing them and keeping them watching. I can only be me which is to talk you to death while playing badly at a game. Hopefully soon some one will let me know how to make things better. The Kays suggest I use newer games but I can't afford at this time the new new games. I might be able to do 6 months old games rather than ten year old games but that would be about it. My son wants to do Minecraft on the computer so maybe I can video some game play of that but my playing of Minecraft seems like it would be a bit boring. I am not very good at building things in it.

How to get people to visit my sites?
Greetings All, Shardvixen hereeeeeeeee
Ok this blog thing is harder than I thought. I thought I just write and people would read. Guess not. Maybe it is just me. I am surrounded through space with a Beware Don't Tread Near Sign. Maybe I am only great inside my own head.(that is defiantly true). I think I am creative, funny and special but my biggest fan is me, then my son. Sometimes my daughter thinks I am awesome, ok she thinks I am awesome most of the time but isn't interested in this...thing I am doing. Neither are many of my friends. Wait I don't have many of them either. Since I am a fool, a noob and a nobody it is hard to get others interested in me. and I don't say these things to get people to feel sympathy for me. It is a fact.
Just like saying I am fat. I have a lot a fat on me, damn soda. I did it to myself for various reasons and I battle with eating disorder every second of the day. I am ugly but this is not a personal perception. I only see a foxy fox when I look at myself or a really old stranger depending on my moon. Other people my whole like have told me I am ugly. I could fix it but I rather like myself probably more than I should. Physical things can be fixed but if you are dumb that would be a bit harder. I am a ditz but a rather smart one. Ask me about it sometime.
People generally don't like me upon meeting me, like I smell bad.( I don't I smell like vanilla and roses, I check every time I leave the house). Those who stick around find out just how special I am and tend to be friends forever or just causal acquaintances for ever. You know the type, They say hi will chat for a bit but won't got to lunch or hang out with you for a long time. Won't help yo out and tend to avoid any emotional deepness. I attract scammers like you would believe, It is because I am old, fat, and ugly. They believe I am easy target.
The thing about scammers is if a person tells you how beautiful you are and how much they want to get to know you and that doesn't happen much in your life, then you should get ready to be conned.
Another big sign is if they don't want to tell you about themselves because they would so much rather talk to you because they understand or if they give you vague information. Of course the big sign is when they ask for money and the really good ones won't ask for it right out.
I don't need friends that badly. Nor do I need followers that badly. I won't pay for followers so others will follow. I rather be all alone in my world. I only need a couple of the right people to follow me and share me to the world. So how to get follows? Let me know if you know.

What the f@ck?
Greetings All-Shardvixen,
What the F@ck will be a new series of videos coming soon to my channel. From the Den will add to this series or in some cases come up with ideas or concepts, I will explore in my videos. I will award the Really? award. My first one is too all the youtubers who prey on other youtubers. Why? is my question. Is it for the views which equal money and status in digital you tuber land?
Here is my take on drama. It exist and we talk about it. We have been doing it all of our human lives I would bet, otherwise we would have no history. Is it a positive thing then? It can be or it can be a tool use to bully or make profit from. I always think of LA Confidential and the Shush Shush magazine in which Danny Devito's character runs and eventually is killed by.
Talking about others especially if they seem too good to be true has always happen and will always happen as long as we the viewers want to see it.
One of my favorite bad mouthers at the moment is Brad Does Banter. Mostly it is his accent and how the words sound, not so much the content. Satire and Sarcasm are a part of our lives because it helps defuse the stress one might feel about a particular subject. Nasty, funny comments about the nasty, bad things in the world help us have closure, to know others feel the same way. Should we agree with the things being said, that would be up to your moral compass. If you believe it is bad to talk about other people in a good or bad light, then no, for you, watching of such low life characters is not a good thing. If you believe it is good, ok to talk about other people in a good or bad light, then yes, for you, watching of such people is all right. but if we hide from the fact that we really do want to know everything about our "gods", then we will allow it but condone it to others.
For a community to stand strong, sarcasm against actions should be allowed. We should have the freedom to say " I don't really like what you are doing but I can't prove you are really doing it yet." Once a person has been arrested and tried for their actions, then it doesn't matter what we say or don't, that is part of the punishment for being a criminal, the lost of right to be treated as a peer.
Should any community be allowed to destroy another person within the community to benifit from? I would say no but I don't really watch or listen to destructive, bad mouthing. I will watch bad mouthing commentaries to get the feel of what is trending and running through the world both real time and digital.
My Really? award goes out to all those who feel the best way to gain the rewards is on the bodies of those who came before. It is like the game Slither.io. You can get big eating shit and dead bodies and kill all those around you to become number one but there will always be another asshole just waiting to take your place for their minute in the sun. I have been experimenting with that game to see if I can get on the leader board without hurting another snake on purpose. I am sure I will be able to but it is the slow and unsure route and why bother if I can just decimate others to win. Slither.io and Drama Casters have a lot in common, I think.
Briefly I want to give my opinion on people doing bad things. Everyone has secrets and some of those secrets are bad. Bad in the way that they hurt others and hurt the holder of the secrets. Abuse of any kind is a deadly secret, Mental Health issues is a killing secret. Desires considered deviant( meaning not of the norm, not what the average person in any given group believes is the norm) are shameful secrets. The belief that famous people, people one admires for one reason or another are angelic and do not have such issues is beyond naive. It is dangerous. Every one has the potential to do harm to others, themselves and the world. If you do not accept this, you will become a victim because it is that belief which predators look for. It is a natural thing. Little rabbits not jumping in the hole every time a shadow comes by eventually get eaten.
It amazes me when people are shocked that a person would do anything bad. We all have the ability to choose good or bad actions. Bad is easier and usually more profitable but in the end will add up to destruction. Good is usually harder at first and doesn't seem as rewarding but will be balanced by the happiness one feels in their soul. Life is about choices, truthfulness and trust. As a society, we don't always reward that good believing there is no such thing. Each person must choose where they stand on that line.
Youtube has a lot of children on it who are unsupervised or who have no one to explain that sometimes our heroes are only can do bad. I talk to my son all the time about what he watches and how it makes him feel. Drama can be a type of bullying so I make sure he understands it is ok to talk about what a person has done good or bad but it not all right to assume they are guilty just because some Youtuber says they are. Justice can only be served if done properly.
