Ok here is the rough draft of Chapter 1 of Caged:

orrow Now:
It was second day of third sumer and it seem hotter now then last yester then 3rd sumer of the same day. Fallon wished he had thought to bring more seed tea flavored with Noirflora petals. At least it would have made the walk easier if a bit dreamy. The petals fresh, held less of the dream then when dried and crush and help make a hard chore easy. It was a long walk from Fallon’s home to the Inland Gate where ships from all over the world came. and it would have been nice to feel the dream rather than the dirt, sweat and heat.
When he decided to leave home to find his destiny, he didn’t know it would be such hard work. This was the first time he would make the walk to the Inland Gate. When Paja and Nineni came they would ride on a flat with Framus pulling. Fallon knew any of the Framus would be missed, so he knew he would have to walk. He would pass the Seat of Power and Warame, the city of weavers before heading down into the Inland Gate. All his life he was told how he was the hero told about to come and bring back the Mother. The Mother of All, the All Mother as the Slags called her. Paja told him the same story every night of his life.
In the Yester Morrow there was race of beings who thought they were stronger and smarter than the All Mother. They built machines to do what the All Mother could do with just thinking. One evil Deuscide decided to build a machine to cage the All Mother in a Soul Cage. To be the one to control her. The Slags knew this was wrong and tried to warn the Rattaysha and the Caputa to stop building the Valve, but neither would listen to a race they had made and controlled for many Yester thens and nows. When the All Mother stepped through the Arch from the Paths, she was caged. Her body shattered and hid among things in the world, her mind and soul was ripped apart and flowed into Soul Cages. Before she was completely apart she struck at the Rattaysha and Caputa and cursed the Slags because they had failed to warn her. All the Parts which once could hear, see and speak from the Paths were blinded, deafen and silenced, for a thousand yester nows. In the Calm Morrow nows, an Ear and a Mouth told the Blood of a hero who would be born who would be the one to release the Caged. Every year at the beginning of the 1st Sumer, to celebrate Fallon’s time in the Morrow nows, Paja told the story. This last time though Paja gave Fallon a music stick and a sheet with a song. Paja had had Fallon trained by a Tainer. Those who were educated by the College and sent out into the world to make sure all were versed in the ways of Yester thens, nows and Morrow nows. Paja told Fallon he much learn the secret of the music to unlock his destiny as the hero. But it wasn’t Fallon who learn the secret but last vistior to Paja’s farm. Oarin as he was introduced to Fallon. Oarin the Slag, but a free slag, an outlaw, a criminal, a killer loose and free. Even Fallon knew this was against the Lexas. The peace keeping monks who kept the world safe till the All Mother returned. They had been spared to keep justice alive and the Slags under control.
Oarin was the reason Fallon had left. Oarin had come seeking Paja for his information but it was Fallon’s song, his birth song that Oarin had needed. Oarin had know the words on the sheet. He had known the notes and played them with his Ping. Fallon didn’t really like the harsh sound of the Ping but the song was still haunting him.(insert song for the quest)When he had time, he would learn to play it on the line harp. Oarin had told him that was an ancient instrument from Yester thens belonging to the Quazies before the 1st war. Fallon didn’t know any of that history and was thinking Oarin was a liar who told false stories. He looked the type. Not the Fallon had seen much of any false types. He just didn’t like Oarin upon meeting him. The dark voice within him said “ He didn’t even bow before the hero.” Fallon ignored that voice though he had to agree Oarin didn’t seem to care that Fallon was the hero. All he had said to Paja in front of Fallon was, “ I will be waiting at the Inland Gate to start the quest., you know what you need to do.”
Fallon asked Paja what Oarin had meant after Oarin was gone. Paja tried to ignore him by going out to harvest, something Fallon hated to be a part of. Noirflora leaves had small needles which attached to everything and left stinging small puntctions. It took many days to get rid of them and made one’s hands really rough. He didn’t think a hero’s hands should be rough. A hero told others what needed to be done. Paja hid among the leaves but Fallon hunted him down and made Paja tell him about Oarin.
Oarin was the Rouge, the deadliest of all Slag. He would have been the All Mother’s Special Killer, to punish all those who dared to go against her wishes. There hadn’t been a Rouge since Yester thens but all the Parts were sharing news from the Paths. Paja had heard that Oarin would be helping the hero on his quest. Fallon was confused and had said, “Am I not the hero?” Paja nodded but said he wasn’t sure if Oarin could be trusted. Many had said they would help the hero but really only to find the hero to kill him. Oarin was looking for the Caged and though for some reason Paja might know where to start looking. Paja said they had to wait for a Blood to show the way.
Fallon wasn’t sure if he wanted to wait for a Blood. They were harder to understand then a Slag and as scary. The few who had showed up on the farm through the years had come with Lexas. Fallon wasn’t sure he should trust them either. But Fallon wasn’t sure of many things the last few yester nows. When he woke up in this day now he decided he would go find Oarin himself and make him help Fallon become the hero. Slags were suppose to help those better and smarter then Slags.
